Enameled wire
Enameled wire is a copper wire that has been coated with an enamel layer to insulate it. it may come in many colors.
Aluminum wires maybe mixed-in. In the case of aluminum wires, the cut would be slightly white.
Enameled wires sold to electric wire manufacturers are flat wires of the diameter of 0.6 mm or more.
Good products are generated from electric wire makers and transformer makers.

Origin
Since enameled wires are used for various purposes such as producing electric wires, motors, transformers and electronic parts, they may be generated from various factories.
Recently, environmental regulations in China have become rigorous, so undisassembled motors and transformers are dismantled in Japan, so the number of scrap generated not only from manufacturing plants but also from scrap dismantling companies is increasing.

At the copper smelter, copper is melted in a high-temperature furnace of 1,000 degrees or more, and the purity is increased by going around several furnaces, and finally copper with a purity of 99.99% is produced. This process is called copper refining.
Recently, there is a demand for high-grade enamel wire that pure copper content can firmly be extracted as well as enamel wire that can serve as a cool material.
