The collected wires are stripped using a stripping machine. The stripped wires are then visually checked for foreign materials, and an iron detector device is used to make sure no iron is mixed-in before delivered to manufacturers.

The tin-drawn wire (thin) delivered to the manufacturer is melted and cast in an electric furnace or reverberatory furnace. Unlike Shiny Mill berry, it is tin-coated, so it is used by manufacturers of copper alloys (phosphor bronze, etc.) that use tin and manufacturers that allow tin-coated content.
