Busbar
A copperplate for power distribution with a thickness of 5 mm or more and 20 mm or less. Plating, soldering, painted or foreign matter, not including foreign materials
Origin
Busbar is mainly used in substation equipment, cubicles, switchboards, and distribution boards.
In other words, the source and time of occurrence are the dismantling work of factories and the replacement of substation equipment.

Busbar copper has a stable composition, so it is treated in the same way as new cutting copper. Since it may arrive in a length of several meters, it is cut with a special cutting machine. At the same time with cutting, visually checking for foreign materials is essential. Copper busbars cut into drums and pallet sizes are shipped to manufacturers as metal raw materials.
Manufacturer
Busbars delivered to the manufacturer are melted and cast in an electric furnace or reverberatory furnace. Semi-finished copper plates and strips are manufactured again from the cast ingots by techniques such as rolling and extrusion.
Such semi-finished products are used for infrastructure equipment such as electric power and communication and are recycled into various products such as mobile phone terminal parts and sensor connector parts.
