Origin

Candy is a collection of copper pipes (phosphorylated copper). The main source of copper pipes is the refrigerant pipes used in air conditioners. Therefore, it can be said that it is an item that occurs more frequently in the summer, which is the replacement period for air conditioners.

The recovered upper average copper is first spread on a sorting table and checked for iron contamination with an iron piece detector.
At the same time, a visual check is performed to check for foreign materials such as brass and copper alloys. After the inspection, the Candy Pipes are pressed or cut, and then the final inspection is performed again with the iron detector before it is delivered to the manufacturer as a metal raw material.

Manufacturer

Candy delivered to the manufacturer is mainly melted and cast in a reverberatory furnace. The cast ingots are remanufactured as semi-finished copper plates and strips by techniques such as rolling and extrusion. Such semi-finished products are used for copper pots of water heaters and recycled into various products such as connector parts.
