Among these, the ones used for electric power and high-voltage wiring in buildings are mainly the Shiny Millberry (Barley). The oxidized Shiny Millberry (Barley) is the Millberry.
原料になるまでの工程
The recovered coated wire is stripped by a machine called a stripping machine and becomes Shiny Millberry. For the Shiny Millberry whose coating has been peeled off, visually check whether there are any unpeeled parts, etc., and use a machine called an iron detector to check for iron contamination. Then, it is pressed, bound, and cut, then inspected again by iron detection before delivered to the manufacturer as a metal raw material. The oxidized Shiny Millberry (Barley) is the Millberry.

Shiny Millberry or Millberry delivered to the manufacturer is melted and cast in an electric furnace or reverberatory furnace. The cast ingots are remanufactured as semi-finished copper plates and strips by techniques such as rolling and extrusion.
Such semi-finished products are used for electric wires of infrastructure equipment such as electric power and communication and are recycled into various products such as terminal parts for mobile phones and connector parts for sensors.
